Main Purpose of the Role
As part of UMPG’s Global Administration organisation, the key responsibility of the Digital Administration department is to understand, report and optimise UMPG’s position in global digital markets. This is achieved by a close relationship with all the company’s departments as well as frequent communication with third parties involved in the digital value chain. This role will support the business unit by using various data sources to identify, explain and resolve identified issues in the process flow from work registration through to revenue received from digital services. Providing analytics tailored to specific functions in the business along with market knowledge and solving global queries will drive value for UMPG’s songwriters and publishing partners.
General Purpose of the Role

Assist in the analysis of global digital income streams.

Work closely with tracking and analytics and local offices to identify revenue issues and deal with queries raised.

Work closely with our global partners to ensure data quality standards are met and to understand external factors influencing digital usage.

Support the Administration, Finance, Business Affairs, Tracking and Royalties communities globally with ad-hoc reporting and insights.

Improve current processes and follow through to completion.

Assist various metadata-based projects with partners.

Ownership of several digital analytics dashboards and ensure they are updated as necessary.

Compile and disseminate metadata for new catalogues.

Maintain the Digital Administration departments’ project & partner tracking package.

Various ad-hoc projects assigned by the Director of Digital Administration.
Person Specification
Essential
-
2 Years experience in a Publishing role, DSP, Society or similar organisation.
-
An aptitude for logical thinking and problem solving.
-
Ability to use own initiative.
-
Effective communication and presentation skills.
-
Ability to understand and then explain complex processes.
-
Able to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
-
Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
-
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Well-organised and excellent attention to detail.
Desirable
-
Knowledge of Domo or other analytics packages.
-
Experience with Monday.com/Jira/Trello.

Involvement in leading global engagement meetings/calls.

Understanding of DDEX standards.
